This is my second favorite Seth book, after The Nature of Personal Reality, and like NOPR, it's a favorite because I see it as having a practical application in understanding and then using that understanding in one's life.  NOPR lays down the basic concepts and how they apply to the individual, and I recommend reading it first.  But The Individual and the Nature of Mass Events has equally valuable information because how one views the world, one's beliefs about it, are just as important as how one sees oneself, one's beliefs about oneself.  The world is a reflection of the individual as well as a collaboration of all our psyches.

Whenever I'm having trouble understanding current events, I'll pick this book up and reread parts of it, to help me sort things out in my mind.
