Title: Roswell N. M. 1947
Post by: jbseth on May 01, 2020, 12:23:01 PM
Hi All,

Have you ever wondered about the UFO crash that some say occurred in Roswell N.M., in 1947?

Well, my wife and I have recently been watching reruns of "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" and the other night, we happened to come across Season 4, Episode 7, (titled "Little Green Men"). Based upon this episode, I think we may have figured it all out.  :)

In this episode, Quark and his brother Rom, take Rom's son, Nog, (all 3 are Ferengi; the Ferengi are smaller than us) travel from the space station, Deep Space Nine, where they all live, to Earth, in their spacecraft. They make this journey because Nog has been accepted into the Starfleet Academy and on the way back home, Quark plans to sell some contraband kemacite (all Ferengi's are really into business deals and making profits in any way possible, much like how all Klingon's are really into battles and warfare).

While about to land on Earth, they run into a problem where the warp drive on their spacecraft won't shut down. As a result of this, Nog makes some quick adjustments so that they can land. In making these adjustments however, they end up going through a time warp and as a result of this, when they wake up, all 3 of them are on a US military base, in July, 1947.

This episode is really fun and lighthearted and if you're interested in figuring out just exactly what happened in Roswell, in 1947, you might just want to check it out.   :)

Priceless, lol. Rob and Jane were Startrack fans. I was too back with the original series. Oh that Chekov! This would be worth watching, thanks.
