I've been trying to get deeper into the now lately. I have definitely noticed some improvements in just being, music, food, nature all seem More. Tolle and Dass say this is part of mastering higher consciousness. Has anyone come across anything Seth has said on this?

Yes Seth has. It is all "now".

Now is all there is.

I am reading the following book (borrowed from a friend) and I literally just read the passage that deals with your very post!

"Your idea of time is false. Time as you experience it is an illusion caused by your own physical senses. Your physical senses force you to perceive action in certain terms, but this is not the nature of action.

You must perceive what you do of reality through your physical senses, but your physical senses distort reality. They present reality to you in their own way. The physical senses can only perceive reality a little bit at a time, and so it seems to you that one moment exists, and is gone forever, and the next moment comes, and like the one before it disappears. But everything in the universe exists at one time, simultaneously, and the first words ever spoken still ring throughout the universe; and in your terms, the last words ever spoken have been said time and time again, for there is no ending and no beginning. It is only your perception that is limited.

Reality is not limited. There is no past, present and future. These only appear to those who exist within three-dimensional reality. Since I am no longer within it, I can perceive what you do not see. But there is a part of you that is not imprisoned within three-dimensional reality, and that part of you knows that there is no time, that there is only an eternal now; and that part of you that knows is the whole self, the inner personality that knows all of your lives.

When I tell you that you have lived for example in 1936, I say this because it makes sense to you now; but you live all of your reincarnations at once. Only you are not aware, and you cannot understand within the framework of three-dimensional reality.

Pretend that you have seven dreams at once and you the dreamer know that you are dreaming. Within each dream 100 earthly years may pass —but to you the dreamer no time has passed, and there is no time to pass, for you are free of the dimension in which time exists. The time you seem to spend within the dream, within each life, is only an illusion, and to the inner self no moment has passed, and to the inner self there is no time."

(If I am not mistaken, book 4 of TES goes into great length and detail about "action" in the beginning? Maybe around session 153? Pg. 24 of newest edition)

According to Seth, we live literally in, "The Eternal Now". Where our present point of power is.

Delving into and really enjoying your present point of power enriches your life as you have experienced. Seth goes into this as well in other areas of various books and cd's. Congratulations!

Here is an exercise of "Power Point of Now"


"You must look within yourself for evidences of what you want in terms of positive experience. Examine your past with that in mind. Imagine your future from the power point of the present. In such a way at least you are not using the past to reinforce your limitations, or projecting them into the future. It is only natural to contrast what you want with what you have, and it is very easy to become discouraged in so doing, but looking for errors in the past will not help you. A correctly utilized five-minute period of time can be of great benefit, however. In this period concentrate upon the fact that the point of power is now. Feel and dwell upon the certainty that your emotional, spiritual and psychic abilities are focused through the flesh, and for five minutes only direct all of your attention toward what you want. Use visualization or verbal thought — whatever comes most naturally to you; but for that period do not concentrate upon any lacks, just upon your desire."

"In a way that will be explained in another book for those interested in such matters, there is a kind of coincidence with all of these present points of power that exist between you and your "reincarnational" selves. There are even biological connections in terms of cellular "memory." (See the 653rd session in Chapter Thirteen.) So through your current beliefs you can, in your own space and time, attract tendencies toward certain experiences shared by these others. There is a constant interaction in this multidimensional point of power, therefore, so that in your terms one incarnated self draws from all of the others what abilities it wants, according to its own specific, localized beliefs."

You are not at the mercy of the past, or of previous convictions, unless you believe that you are. My own emphasis is bold and underlined.

I think it would be very educational and expansive to focus on a new belief of self with this exercise and not something materialistic like money or fame.

A swapping of beliefs if you will. More confidence, safety, remembering dreams, editing a bothersome dream, editing a daily event/circumstance that was ugh, seeing a person that is hard to deal with suddenly quite kind and respectful, lifting another out of poverty or depression etc, something more constructive psychologically, spiritually and emotionally charged. Wrap the Earth in your love... see someone as not sick... one of your affirmations felt deeply for five minutes.

Things like that.

@strangerthings great finds St thanks 🙂

It is a strange thing that we are limited to one moment at a time whereas really we can experience all moments. I will use the exercises above, I have read them before but they are so important they should be read every morning especially how new perceptions in the present can alter the past.

Also my aim is to get so into the now that past and future projections are non existent unless consciously constructed.
