Hi All,

This is fun.

I find it interesting whenever a Seth idea shows up in our reality.

Yesterday, I discovered that there is a new movie coming out on June 28, 2019.  The movie is titled, "Yesterday" and it's about a young man, a musician / singer who gets into an accident and when he wakes up, he realizes that he's the only person in the world who recalls the Beatles. Thus, he starts performing the Beatles songs and as a result of this, he becomes hugely popular.

I'd say that this movie was based upon the concept of a probable reality.

As I thought about this, I realized that there have been other movies that were based upon this "probable reality" concept. For example, I'm inclined to think that the movie, "It's a Wonderful Life", also used this idea. Furthermore, "It's a Wonderful Life", was released about 15 years before Jane ever started channeling Seth.

That's an awesome find, sounds like a fun movie. Love the concept. It also made me think of Back to the Future (not sure which one) where the future Marty gives the past Marty a stock tip to buy Yahoo or something like that. Actually those movies were all about time travel, affecting/changing the past, future. I might try watching at least the first one again, from a Sethian perspective. Also the "future" in the movies was 2015: http://money.com/money/4076862/back-to-the-future-day-predictions-accuracy/

Have you seen Mr. Nobody?

Quote from: Deb
It touches the concepts of choosing our parents before birth, our  amnesia, free will, probable selves,  physics theories (multiverse, nonlinear time, expansion/contraction of the universe, chaos, string, changing the past), questions sequential time, includes the butterfly effect, all wrapped up in good acting, great cinematography, some fantastic and clever dreamlike scenes, with a great music track to boot.

Maybe it's time for me to watch it again. I also need to see Wonderful Life. I may have seen it when I was little, I can't remember, but I think I'd get much more out of it now.

Hi All,

Check it out.

If you watch the attached video for this movie, at 2:36 into the video, it appears that possibly both Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr may have made a cameo appearance in this film. We may have to wait until the movie comes out, to find out for sure.

On the Abbey Road record cover, where the Beatles are crossing a street, Paul was barefoot, Ringo was wearing black shoes and George and John were wearing white shoes.

YES! The movie looks great, I really want to see it. And yes to Paul and Ringo:

"The film has cameos from Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr as well as funny bits with James Corden and Ed Sheehan playing themselves."

You've seen the James Corden Carpool Karaoke with Paul? Hysterical!

The preview end cracked me up. My dad played guitar, or as he said, "practiced" guitar. Somehow back in the 70s he heard Hey Jude, liked it and played/sang it. But he thought it was Hey Dude. Lol. My father died in 76.

I really look forward to this movie. It happens that just "yesterday", I sold the very first LP that I ever bought, Meet the Beatles. I believe this was their first album released in the States, with their actual first album in the UK, Introducing the Beatles, released very shortly afterward in the States. I remember the excitement generated by Beatlemania and how healing it was so soon after the Kennedy assassination. I remember other kids my age cynically saying that they hated the Beatles, and that the really great group was the Dave Clark Five(?) or the Rolling Stones. While I can respect those who preferred the Stones, there is no question what group led the so-called British Invasion and paved the way for all those who followed. I remember my step-father claiming that the Beatles were just a fad. I don't know if my parents ever realized as they listened to their Easy Listening TV channel for the last several years that a significant percentage of the music was instrumental versions of Beatles' songs or other popular music from that era that they disdained at the time. You have probably all heard that at least two of McCartney's most beloved songs, Yesterday and Let it Be, came to him in dreams.

Hi All,

Yeah, me too Larry H. I'm also really, really excited to see this movie.

Not only does it seem to be based upon an interesting premise, a probable reality, but to have an opportunity to hear some classic Beatles tunes performed on the big screen in front of large live audiences is really awesome.

As a kid of about 10 at the time, I can remember my older brother and sister listening to rock and roll on the radio, prior to the Beatles and the British invasion. A lot of the American rock and roll music at that time was mostly American artists or groups. People like Bobby Vee, Connie Francis and Bobby Vinton.
After the British invasion, Rock and Roll music really changed.

After the British Invasion, with the exception of a few American artists like Elvis, and the Beach Boys, it seems you almost had to be an British group, to get any air time.

I can't wait to see this movie. :)
