Beautiful! I love Celtic music, had not heard of this band before. I see they don't focus exclusively on Celtic, but I'll take what I can get. Thanks! I'm still in England but have internet at the moment. I head home tomorrow.

Welcome to Europe ... :P
"Stranger in a strange land. " :D (An "Iron Maiden" song --- This band is from UK) ... Ask some rock guy on the streets in England. They will know about it. :D

Faun band is german and their genre was named pagan-folk medieval..Celtic music is different.I personally don't put them in the same boat.Celtic music is Irish more ...

Great book, I still have my original copy. It must be time to read it again. And this stranger... in a strange land....  To me England is the Mother Ship, I am not a stranger. Returning to a parched, hot, dry Colorado was tough for me today. I could move to England in a heartbeat. It was my 4th trip there. Got out just in time, once again. Last year I left on the day of the Brexit vote, today it was the police state after the Manchester fiasco. Sadly, mass events continue to be troubling. The terrorism situation appears to be never-ending on this planet. I need to examine that situation with respect to Seth's materials.

Any who, I didn't realize Iron Maiden was British. I am no stranger to the band. I saw that Faun was German, had some songs recorded in German but I resonate with the Celtic/Pagan sounds. I'll take a listen to their German music, but for me generally the sound is not as lyrical and uplifting.

you ever hear of Wardruna?

Well I'd never heard of Warduna but this is an interesting night for me. Looking back on my quote above, I had just returned from England. At this moment, I am in Ireland on a riding holiday, and have not heard any Celtic music. And no need for it, I'm experiencing the real Ireland, as good as it gets.

I found this on YouTube, and while I've only listened to a little bit I already resonate with it. Haunting. Wiki says a Nordic basis, but it has that feeling that I love. And surprise, or no surprise, riding horses through water. That's me on the white horse. Strangerthings, how'd you do that? Thank you!
