I was a bit shocked to see this......

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4319340/

The principal interest in this plant is because of its strong anticancer effects. Although it is effective for a number of medical conditions, it is its anti-tumor effect that is of the most interest. This plant is a proven cancer remedy for cancers of all types.

I found this other website I was spontaneous lead to and we here know how that works and then something caught my eye!

I used to have cancer and I would have opted for this route of help and aid instead of what I put myself through.

It hasnt reappeared and I give that to my mental attitude change.

So if others could use this plant and have mental change -- I am speechless this is not front page news!

I have been sifting now through pages of testimonies and other institutions verifying this plant cures cancer!

You want to know the first thought that popped in my Sethie head when reading about this Muricata plant? I bet the tribes' Shamans found it long ago in the dream state!

But I have a question:

If the US National Library of Medicine National Institutes of Health know this is a cure... WHY is this not on the front pages of BENEFICIAL REPORTING journalism?  This is terrific news to share and it all the more gives humanity a great benefit!

We will have to do this on our own I suppose which is fine and all though I can not help but be somewhat shocked it isnt talked about and shown to more doctors.

Some people will get cancer and it will not be cured I would assume....simply because they want out however.... for those who wish to stay would benefit from this coupled with a mental change in attitude. I would think this would BOOST their morale!

But what do I know I am a cancer survivor. (sarcasm implied)

Seth has mentioned about discoveries yet to be found that would cure things...he never wanted to outright say this is the place etc etc because I think...he wanted us to fall naturally into the paths on our own. This plant was only discovered about 40 years ago.

In 1992 big pharma took control of the FDA -- that is on record.

So here I am in this particular probable outcome ..... wondering.

All sorts of things are popping in and out of my mind regarding certain things Seth has mentioned. This could be something he was mentioning but not willing to flat out tell us so there would be no interference.

The name of this plant is referred to as the Muricata Fruit tree and:

"It is also known as custard apple, cherimoya, guanabana, soursop and Brazilian paw. The active ingredient is thought to be a type of plant compound (phytochemical) called annonaceous acetogenins. This tree is low and is called Graviola/guyabano! In Brazi, guanabana in Spanish and has the uninspiring name “soursop” in English. The fruit is very large, and the subacid sweet white pulp is eaten out of hand or, more commonly, used to make fruit drinks, sherbets."

While Seth had a lot to say about cancer, I only remember stuff about it being self-caused and based on inner conflicts or beliefs, just like everything else. http://search.sethtalks.com/q/cancer/

The article author contradicts himself, I think:

"Overall, there is no full proof evidence to show that Graviola works as a cure for cancer. In laboratory studies, Graviola extracts can kill some types of liver and breast cancer cells that are resistant to particular chemotherapy drugs. Hence, we don’t know yet whether it can work as a cancer treatment or not."

My first thought is that cancer is a big money maker. But maybe there are more studies taking place right now with this fruit. Would be nice if people could just eat the stuff, I bet some company will jump on this and process the fruit into some unrecognizable and expensive medicine, far removed from nature. Wait, never mind, I just did a search on Graviola and it's already available as a supplement. The fruit looks interesting, I may have seen it in the Asian market. It does have some serious side effects too.  https://www.mskcc.org/cancer-care/integrative-medicine/herbs/graviola But I can't see the medical/pharma worlds coming out and saying, "just eat this fruit and you'll be fine." Some day I'll explain 'the rest of the story' behind the genome project, lol.

    And then there's always this:

"There are those who come down with one serious disease — say heart trouble — are cured through a heart transplant operation or other medical procedure, only to fall prey to another seemingly unrelated disease, such as cancer."
    —WTH Chapter 11: June 11, 1984

So a belief in the fruit as a cure for cancer would work well as a placebo, while the original cause of illness remains to pop up in some other form. Seth does mention that natural supplements do work better in our bodies. I need to track down the quote, it's in one of the earlier books. But, I had cancer too, in my pre-Seth days, and even then knew that I caused it myself, and how. The whole incident was surrounded with weird coincidences too.

Yep. Hey, you like to play with words the way stranger things does! Maybe we're sheeples. But not the white variety.  ;D

Custard apple, cherimoya, and soursop are not the same but closely related. We have a custard apple tree in our garden and my wife and I enjoy eating the fruits. Cherimoya tastes even better, but the fruits are scarce. Cherimoya grows in the cooler hill country of Sri Lanka. Soursop is freely available, but I don't like it because it is sour. It can be made into a drink with sugar added. Tastewise, soursop is a world away from cherimoya.

anyway, my first thought is 'Marketing'! my second thought was 'Marketing'!! But I'm cynical like that.

I agree that just eating Muricata is not going to prevent or cure cancer. Eating five to seven portions of different vegetable or fruit a day might well prevent cancer.

Some say cancer is 'anger' however, I might say it's vaccines.
Unresolved anger is pretty bad. We have to learn to resolve anger. A relative of my wife was a Roman Catholic nun. I think she was treated badly by her superiors and the expression of anger was forbidden. She sadly got cancer and died at the age of 44.

I don't believe this thing about side effects unless you eat tons of it.

Like anything else. I wonder if the side effects they are stating are from actually eating the fruit, or from taking supplements which are more concentrated. I see they even use the leaves in some supplements.

The information in this topic prompted me to look into other fruits I'd not tried before. I found a couple of YouTubes about what would be considered exotic and unknown fruits in the US--some things I've seen in the Asian markets here (Korean, Vietnamese, etc.) I'm now on a quest to try them all.

Thanks for that distinction. A few sources lump them all together as one and the same.

    Cherimoya
I see that Cherimoya is grown commercially in California. Mark Twain claimed that Cherimoya is “the most delicious fruit known to men”.

Also, Dr Mercola video and article Library

While strings is thinking of her answer lol, I share my two cents. Dr Mercola is great (I buy his toothpaste when I get too lazy to make my own) and the Vitamin K2 book is great. I read it a few years ago and it make a lot of sense to me. I'll be glad to send it to you, if you can look past my notes and highlighting. There is scientific proof of what she writes about, cases of reverse calcification of the arteries with K2 consumption. Considering the dietary recommendations of the USDA, the low fat and cholesterol myths and the steady increase in heart and other diseases, I think we've been going in the wrong direction for quite some time. And yet there are still many doctors who insist we eat a low fat, low cholesterol diet. But, see my caveat below.

    Quote from: strangerthings
BTW - notice that the quote "Overall, there is no full proof evidence to show that Graviola works as a cure for cancer." in the nih.gov article never says what the no-proof is. Its just tossed in like a rag doll.

Yeah, well, maybe they need time to see if the fruit could be profitable in any way. The goal of big pharma is to create customers for life and not cure diseases. I also just recently read somewhere that it takes 25 years for newly discovered treatments to come into effect.

For me, it always comes back to this:

"Remember that the body is a natural self-healer."
    —WTH Chapter 2: February 10, 1984

Caveat: So while I have fun with my ideas about diet, fat, cholesterol, raw milk, organic foods, Roundup, gluten, over-farming, feeding our food sources garbage, vaccinations, fluoride, Big Farma, Big Pharma and the conclusions of Weston Price... I realize it really comes down to my beliefs. But... everyone needs a hobby, lol.
