An article (https://www.monroeinstitute.org/blog/eyes-angel) and video by Paul Elder of The Monroe Institute, talking about his near-death experiences and a little about out-of-body experiences.
This man has had three NDEs and goes into detail about his drowning at the age of 12. He starts around 7 minutes with that story, but I found this entire video interesting.
Two unusual things he talks about is that drowning is a pleasant way to die, which is the complete opposite of what I've always thought and that (about 14:40, editor's cut to his OBE) the jerk our bodies sometimes make when we're falling asleep, according to him, is our spirit snapping back into our physical bodies. I think that explained to him what he felt when was revived from the drowning accident.
