Who or what Seth is or was

For my part, I don't really care if Seth was a pink elephant with poney tails. I'm focused on applying what makes sense in his message. In the end, isn't that what his aim was? Making our lives better. As long as his teachings make sense to me and make me a better being, more connected to the whole, then I'll keep on believing.

Quote from: Sena
Quote from: Tob
Individual life, or the life of the present individual, could be legitimately compared to the dream of an entity. While the individual suffers and enjoys his given number of years, these years are but a flash to the entity. The entity is concerned with these years in the same manner that you are concerned with your dreams. As you give inner purpose and organization to your dreams, and as you obtain insight and satisfaction from your dreams though they involve only a part of your life, so the entity to some extent directs and gives purpose and organization to his personalities during their existence. And so does the entity obtain insights and satisfactions from his existing personalities, although no one takes up all of his own attentions.

And as your dreams originate with you, rise from you, attain a seeming independence and have their ending with you, so do an entity's personalities arise from him, attain various degrees of independence, and return to him while never leaving him for an instant.
Tob, thanks for this. It really helps us understand the relationship between the entity and individual personalities.

I think the picture is very useful. The light rays can be perceived as somehow decelerated up to the point where the design/gestalt is frozen and malleable. This would correspond to Seth's description of the frozen light (instead of a construction holding a nearly infinite number of cameras). And the glass spheres - all showing a similar if not identical interior - represent what Bashar describes as 'Indra's net' when asked about explaining issues of reincarnation. Every sphere is precisely reflecting what is actually going on in the other spheres - and vice versa, similar to Seth's island analogy and the crossfertilization. If you added a black spot to one of the spheres - one incarnation - it would be automatically reflected by all of the others. The shape of the 'frozen light' fits Seth's description of the gestalt of an 'entity'.
