How events "solidify"

In the scientific view there are three ways in which events are brought about: (a) The conscious actions of humans and other animals. (b) Cause and effect, like an earthquake causing a tsunami. (c) Random occurrence.

In Seth's view, ALL events are brought about by consciousness, which is not limited to humans and other animals. Quotes from the Seth search engine:

• "The main nature of events, the majority of events, do not in quotes "solidify" until the last moment, in your terms. According to your understanding and interpretation of the word, events, none are predetermined by a source outside of yourselves."

• "Some of these are perceived and experienced as definite events within your own system. It is you who choose among the probabilities, and from these you form the given collection that compose any particular event."

• "Events are materialized in your time from their origins in notime, then. [...] Each event that you form from any given set of probabilities automatically gives rise to new probabilities."

—The Early Sessions 9 Session 438 September 23, 1968

"You can only make so many conscious decisions, or you would be swamped and caught in a constant dilemma of decision making. Time organizes the available choices that are to be made. The awakening mentioned earlier, then, found man rousing from his initial "dreaming condition," faced suddenly with the need for action in a world of space and time, a world in which choices became inevitable, a world in which he must choose among probable actions—and from an infinite variety of those choose which events he would physically actualize. This would be an almost impossible situation were the species—meaning each species—not given its own avenues of expression and activity, so that it is easier for certain species to behave in certain manners. And each species has its own overall characteristics and propensities that further help it define the sphere of influence in which it will exert its ability to make choices."
-- Dreams Evolution and Value Fulfilment Chapter 5: Session 904, February 27, 1980

"The nature of probabilities determines the framework in which these fulfilments can take place, and "frames" living developments. The structure of probabilities provides on the one hand a system of barriers, in which practical growth is not chosen or significant; and on the other hand it insures a safe, creative, rich environment — a reality — in which the idealization can choose from an almost infinite variety of possible actions those best suited to its own fulfilment."
—The Unknown Reality 1 Section 3: Session 697 May 13, 1974

Continuing the quote from Session 697, "Each cell in your body is to some extent altered with each thought that you think.... As the cells respond at certain levels to ever-changing streams of probabilities, so do your thoughts."

Hi Santiago, welcome to the forum. I am not sure what more details you require. May I suggest you look at your own life and consider how events happen. I think what you will find is that events are not all random, but often fall into a pattern that is beneficial to you and those close to you. Seth's teaching on this topic is in opposition to the "scientific" view that consciousness has no effect on physical events.

There was a lot of information in Dreams, Evolution, and Value Fulfillment, but the most intriguing to me was the concept that initially, our world was more of a dream and that over time, it became more physical.  I loved that stuff.  It's so poetic.  Life is but a dream.
