I love Brené Brown. I've a couple of her books (audio version, I love listening to hear talk), listened to hear speak at Mile Hi Church near Denver. This woman is totally open and honest, you just have to love her. She speaks to the soul about vulnerability and shame and living honestly. Shame is a terrible thing, a crime against someone's spirit. To have someone in your life to whom you can expose your innermost self and come out of it 'alive' is a wonderful thing. I wish that for everyone.

St, yes being on a Seth forum is a "strange" thing. We Seth readers are in a minority of 0.00001% of the Earths's population (a rough guess). I personally do not have anyone outside the forum with whom I can discuss the Seth ideas with. Discussing things on a forum is not like real life; there is always a possibility of being misunderstood.

Oh boy, what timing. I've been helping some friends that are in a very bad way right now. Life or death stuff, and most likely death and worse. Today their young adult daughter unloaded on me about what's going on in the family beyond what's obvious, and it was heart-wrenching. Not many surprises, but she's carrying all the weight and I feel for her. She ended up with "God hates us." I guess I earned the right and all of the rest of the points above, and I hope I can continue to make a difference in their lives.

Im usually on my game for most things but there are some things I forget to go in state for and build rapport.

I want to add though that sometimes.... people just want to vent to someone who "holds space" for them. Like you did!
Sometimes it is not about rapport or what not.... just you being loving and gentle and an ear without judgement.

Having no tone of emotion or body language sometimes can do this yep yep yep.

And in saying that...I have often wondered about a voice chat room for the forum but I think most people would not talk lol A lof of this stuff is so personal and it is easier to just hide and type from afar....

Everyone is in different time zones too—we have members in the US, Europe, Asia, South America, Australia. Even Russia! Some of the Seth books have been translated into Russian without permission (I have one).

wow I did not know this

I hope none of the information is missing in the unapproved books! That is why I think it is very important they get approval for this particular type of knowledge. The translations need to be in such a way that is indeed what was was intended to be said.

And separately the copyright holder is not making any money to stay in business - I am not talking about just these books though - "in general". I know that it is not always an easy thing for some folks to make money and get every book or cd so they are "reduced" to grabbing what they can when they can if they are on a quest!

My Russian language skills are rudimentary, so I wouldn't know. But places like Russia and China etc. don't care about US copyrights and they are out of our reach. My thought is the Seth material wisdom will shine thru regardless of the translation. Seth said WE write the books, and countless people have said (myself included) that every time I re-read something some new wisdom comes thru.
