Did Seth ever talk about the pineal gland, the human brain, dormant capacities and that sort of thing?

The only quote I could find on the pineal gland is "Mental enzymes are connected with the pineal gland. As you know them, body chemicals are physical, but they are the propellants of this thought-energy, containing all the codified data necessary for translating any thought or image into physical actuality. They cause the body to reproduce the inner image. They are sparks, so to speak, initiating the transformation." I found the quote here:

I understand endogenous DMT has been found in the pineal gland of the rat:

It is interesting that Seth referred to the pineal gland with reference to chemicals (enzymes) rather than the more popular "third eye" hypothesis. I think much of the research on DMT post-dates the Seth books.

Great timing.  Thanks for this info.  In my dreams last night "They" were doing "brain surgery" on my Pineal.  Lit it up like a Christmas Tree.  Got a headache now.

The main research on DMT in humans (naturally occuring byproduct and as ingested substance) is by Rick Strassman, Now Rogan hosts the dock DMT: The Spirit Molecule which is on YouTube and worth a watch.
I'll add link later as on tablet it won't let me.

There's a documentary on Netflix based on the related book, called "DMT: The Spirit Molecule." Probably also available elsewhere (Youtube?)
. . .
My mind goes back to Seth saying that we are hard-wired, have physical organs, for communication with our higher selves.

And this wouldn't be me without a quote from Dr. Joe, lol:

"The Pineal Gland is a liquid crystal superconductor
that sends as well as receives information
thru the transduction of energetic vibrational signals
(frequencies beyond the senses — the Quantum Field)
into biological tissue ~the brain and the mind~
in the form of meaningful imagery
the same way as an antennae translates different channels onto a TV screen."

Joe has a pre-meditation breathing technique (a form of pranayama) that is intended to move energy from the lower chakras up to the brain. Holding the energy (and transported spinal fluid) in the brain exerts pressure on the pineal gland, which is supposed to activate calcium crystals (?) in the pineal gland and produce various metabolites (including DMT?) from melatonin. Melatonin production is supposedly at its peak at 3-4 am, so that's when he recommends getting up to meditate to get the best results.

I have a hard time not waking up at 3 AM as do many others.
