I think that this is a deep Ramana quote:

Quote"The Self alone exists. When you try to trace the ego, which is the basis of the perception of the world and everything else, you find the ego does not exist at all and neither does all this creation that you see."
— Ramana Maharshi

Others:

Quote"The question 'Who am I?' is not really meant to get an answer, the question 'Who am I?' is meant to dissolve the questioner."
— Ramana Maharshi
Quote"He who thinks he is the doer is also the sufferer."
— Ramana Maharshi
Quote"Realisation is not acquisition of anything new nor is it a new faculty. It is only removal of all camouflage."
— Ramana Maharshi
Quote"You are all searching for the silence of the mountain. But you're looking for something outside. This silence is accessible to you right now, inside the center of your own being."
— Ramana Maharshi
Quote"Silence is also conversation."
— Ramana Maharshi
Quote"The thing to do is to concentrate on the seer and not on the seen, not on the objects, but on the Light which reveals them."
— Ramana Maharshi
Quote"There is nothing wrong with God's creation. Mystery and Suffering only exist in the mind."
— Ramana Maharshi
Quote"That which is not present in deep dreamless sleep is not real."
— Ramana Maharshi
Quote"The world is not outside you."
— Ramana Maharshi
Quote"To ask the mind to kill itself is like making the thief the policeman. He will go with you and pretend to catch the thief, but nothing will be gained. So you must turn inward and see where the mind rises from, and then it will cease to exist."
— Ramana Maharshi
Quote"In truth, you are spirit. The body has been projected by the mind, which itself originates from Spirit."
— Ramana Maharshi
Quote"Reality is simply the loss of ego. Destroy the ego by seeking its identity. Because the ego is no entity it will automatically vanish and reality will shine forth by itself."
— Ramana Maharshi
Quote"Forgetfulness of your real nature is true death; remembrance of it is rebirth."
— Ramana Maharshi

Although I don't always write it explicitly, it should be inferred that everything I post is "my belief", "my opinion" on that subject, at that moment.

Deep for sure. Each quote takes some contemplation.

Some of Ramana's quotes are wisdom directly channeled, and are less distorted; others are his interpretation of that wisdom, and are more distorted.

I'm pretty sure that some of the wisdom nuggets I see there were foreign to Ramana's views.

When you read and interpret somebody's words, you directly access your own inner-source of knowledge and guidance, and you can sift the knowledge from the author's distortions, while inherently adding yours, resulting from your beliefs and level of evolvement.

Personal distortions really complicate things. I feel better that Seth said we communicate telepathically. Otherwise I doubt that verbal and written communication would be effective at all.

This is one of the reasons for which I try to intuitively interpret what others say or write.

This was the post that triggered my recent browsing of Ramana's teachings:

QuoteRM said to a follower when the latter exclaimed that he wanted to "know" God. "You cannot know God, you can only BE God."

The post author's interpretation was likely different from mine, but that doesn't matter to me. It might be even that Ramana's intention was different from my interpretation.
