How to find a mate with Seth's teaching?

Hi, though my username is "happilymarried", it's a state I wish to be in, rather than it's already materialized.

I'm currently reading Seth Speaks and The Nature of Personal Reality.

I want to ask: is there any part in the whole Seth materials which Seth talked about finding a mate?
Or how did anyone find mate by applying Seth's concept.

I'm asking because I'm a 35 y/o woman who just left Christianity a couple of months ago because I no longer can believe in it. I had to break up with my wonderful Christian boyfriend because he can't be "unequally yoked".

I wish to be with someone like him because he made me feel safe, secured, wanted, accepted, ... He didn't have much in term of materials & education but I truly enjoyed who he is.

And we were dating for marriage and that's what I want as well. I don't want to waste time dating around. I want to date for marriage.

Anyone can shed any light on what Seth speaks about this? Or something from your personal experiences?

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum !

Yes, Seth talked about finding a mate. I'll share a quote, but if you click through to the Seth search engine link you'll see quite a few quotes. It would be the same process that attracts anything into our lives, good or bad. "You get what you concentrate upon." So as far as I can tell, you are already on the right track. You don't want to focus on what you don't have, but put out the message to the universe what you want, expect it to come to you, and then get out of the way and let the magic happen. Know that the universe has your back and is stacked in your favor.

I recently listened to a podcast by Dr. Bruce Lipton, who has his own gig but very much in alignment with the Seth materials. He told a story about when he wanted to attract a partner to himself, and was focused on what was missing from his life (a partner) rather than what he had... a good life, living in a beautiful place, a rewarding job. He tried to get a date with a woman he was attracted to, and she told him flat out that he was too needy. It was a slap in the face for him, but one he now thanks her for. He decided to be happy with his life "as is" (search for session 440 on the search engine, "accepting life on its own terms") and not long afterward met his life partner. A very happy ending.

I can also say that when I was single after a divorce, I did not want to be in a new relationship, I was enjoying the freedom. I would tell guys that asked me out that I did not want a relationship, only to be friends, and they were ok with that. I have to admit that I'd come home from work every Friday and find my answering machine filled to the max. A year later I met someone who changed my attitude towards having a relationship. ;) And we could both see the "chess game" that took place in order for us to meet... as neighbors.

Oh if you want to read the entire session 440, since the search engine skips paragraphs here and there, let me known and I can send it to you.

"When you want to go downtown, you know that destination exists, though you may be miles away from it. When you want to find a mate you take it for granted that a potential mate exists, though where in space and time you do not know. Your intent to find a mate sends out "strands of consciousness," however, composed of desire and intent. Like detectives, these search the world, looking in a completely different way than a physical sleuth. The world is probed with your characteristics in mind, seeking for someone else with characteristics that will best suit your own. And whatever your purpose is, the same procedure on a psychic level is involved."

Deb, I think Seth is very insightful on this topic.
"Marriages are made in heaven." NOT the heaven of the monotheist God.

Welcome to the forum. Christianity may have been okay 2000 years ago, but it was corrupted by dogmatic monotheism. The All That Is described by Seth is NOT the male Christian God.

Dear Deb and Sena

Thank you so much for spending time to answer me! I truly appreciated.

I found out about Seth materials only a couple of weeks ago via reddit. There are a lot of things I'm still trying to grasp/comprehend, but I must say it hits home for me. I have the feeling that it is true, unlike when I read the Bible, I had to force myself to believe that it is true. It doesn't mean that the Bible doesn't have any value, it does. But now I realize/accept that it isn't 100% authentic.

It was a painful decision for me to lose Chrisitan God, direction, and specially my wonderful Christian boyfriend at the same time (we were heading to marriage). I cried a lot and had a lot of pain/frustration, but after 7 weeks, now I can truly say that it's worth it. Now I can live with the free flow of life, which I'm sure Seth materials will be a big part of it. I feel truly liberating.

And I'm so glad to find this forum and connect with you guys.

Deb, yes, please send me entire session 440. Would you send it to my message or should I give you my email address or so?

Thank you very much!

Unfortunately I can't attach anything in PMs, but I can email it to you. I have access to the email address in your profile, or if you have a different one you want to me to send it to, let me know in a PM. I can get that to you today if you'd like. :) I'd attach it here, but this is a public board and there could be copyright issues if I share more than what "fair use" allows.

I'm glad you found the Seth books and that the materials resonate with you! Many people say the information in the materials feels right—they feel like they know all of this deep down, but had forgotten it along the way. I was raised Catholic but it never felt right to me. I rejected religion in general while still fairly young.
