Scoliosis and whatever illness - Seth reply

I see from the posts here that many fans of the Seth books are confused to apply Seth' wisdom to such life triggered cases as illness.
Yet it is of great importance to understand that we are seekers of the spiritual wisdom EXACTLY for a reason to be able to solve all our life problems .
I will try to condense this huge and important topic into the clearly defined pointers so that if there are questions - those pointers can be expanded...
1. Seth teaches that every happening has it's reason for (ultimately, in the long run) our good. If we understand that - we try to figure out the reason why we get sick in the first place - this would lead to fixing the problem.
2. EVen if the above seems to be impossible to figure out, still we learn from Seth that our body has intelligence to heal itself. Remember? Every cell of the body has consciousness driving intelligence to find out how and what to do for healing.
How does this help?  By ALLOWING body to heal, by TUNING with internal feeling which tells you what's going on... Even more:  you can get all information what should be done in order to heal... you all get this... but few listen... why? because in your mind - YOUR BODY's HEALTH IS IN THE HANDS OF YOUR DOCTOR!   No matter how many times Seth talks about this - readers don;t get it...

Sorry but this truth is so removed from our brainwashed subconscious that only rare individuals tune into the body to listen for advise ! Be honest with yourself - you are reading this as a revelation from a freak... is it? You like the ideas presented from Seth but you don't make those ideas into NEW YOU!
No wonder - Jane Roberts herself did not take this teaching (channelled through her) into her own subconscious... instead she submitted herself to the medical establishment having no chances there..........................

People! you are wonderful men and women made in the "image of God", possessing powers and intelligence from One Greater than the Universe! Why do you reject those powers in you????????  Why do you trust doctor's diploma more than your own Divine Powers and Intelligence ?????????????????????????????????
This is main reply from Seth........

I am alive today only due to applying these principles (learned not only from Seth but from many other authors - the same teaching).

As this post mentions somebody' problem with scoliosis, I will give a specific example on that.
I went through something related although not the same ( spinal cord damaged long ago due to hang gliding crash)...
- If you listen to your body (be with it, meditate on inside feeling, trust  whatever you feel)  you will feel that it needs adjustments while stretching (forget about obvious mental "knowledge" for now - drop it - I am only talking about FEELING).
- then , pushed by this feeling you start seeking how to make efficient stretching...   Universal Intelligence surely prepared a tool for you...
while in this state I was somehow driven to look for devices on internet...
- I discovered these so called "inverse tables" thing which I did not know about...
I found from people's reviews how they heal MANY different spinal bones problems by stretching and they stopped going to chiropractors...   this discovery was made due to that "feeling" coming from my body............
- I bough one and started turning upside down.... but that was not enough...
while doing this, body feel "requested" some turns and shakes to apply while in upside down position - so I did that...
- then your body makes you feel to do yoga - (just a symbolic language, but what that feeling tells you is basically boils down to exactly what Yoga is about...)
recovery was nothing less than magical if I were to describe how bad my situation was (non moving vegetable in sharp pain from any slight movement) and to what degree I was restored... it will look like a fantasy ............

and so you just follow all the pointers from your body..................
This is Seth method for ALL BODY PROBLEMS
( as well as emotional, mental and spiritual.......)
if you are still not convinced - go back to meditate on  "The Nature of Personal Reality"

Sincerely wishing to help
Vladimir

Vladimir

Forgot to mention another  important pointer for the scoliosis example :
- feeling for Yoga as I termed it - was very specific which can be pinpointed to few asanas...
the main being "Snake" or "Cobra" - this must be done more than once a day - this should become a "habitual doing" throughout the day.....
relaxation after that is a must ... good method is doing a sequence of few Snakes, then relaxation (2-3 min), then another sequence with relaxation.....

But to emphasise the main point from Seth - your body tells you everything you need to know - you only need to listen and trust it.

Vladimir, welcome to the forum, and thanks for bringing this to our attention. It is easy to forget with everybody telling you to go and see a doctor for this and that.

Vladimir

Living in human society and been bombarded every moment with what is and what is not from society's point of view (with total disregard for the reality), it is natural to loose your essence .  This is the outcome of the way all humans live .
I understand my lifestyle is extreme and I do not recommend to everyone but I myself live alone on the property located deep in the forest far from any town...
I don't have TV , very few neighbours. I drive for shopping only once a month (this is  time to see other people). But I have all the luxuries necessary for human creativity:  mechanical shop, electronic and computer lab , pianos and music studio...
Though it seems to be extreme today, I nevertheless think that this is close to the way all people will live in the future..........

All knowledge comes from Beyond... only if there is nobody standing as a fence between you and That Knowledge.

Deb

Vladimir, congratulations on your recovery! Your lifestyle sounds intriguing, there are times when I think I'd like to try living that way for at least some period of time. You must feel very connected to nature.

Even when I was a kid, the medical world has been telling us that we simply cannot heal without intervention by the "experts." Sure, we can get over a cold, or a burn, or a cut or broken bone, but the more "serious" health issues must be left to the experts. And they have even gone to the extent to tell us that there are certain things in our bodies that cannot recover at all, such as brain cells (although lately some are accepting neuroplasticity). I knew someone on a heart transplant list because his heart was 'permanently' damaged. Well, somehow it recovered on its own and he was taken off the list. That was probably 20 years ago and his heart is still fine. Unfortunately medicine does not recognize unassisted healings, it calls them remissions, with the idea that the disease can come back at any time. And I suppose that's true: If all illness is a manifestation of an inner conflict, then the inner conflict must be dealt with or otherwise another symptom or illness will crop up. People consider recoveries to be miracles. Seth said "miracles are nature unimpeded." One of my favorite quotes. (WTH, Ch.14, as quoted by Rob)

A big YES to listening to our bodies. Unfortunately its been trained out of most of us. Or yes, brainwashed. There are times when I crave certain foods (no, not Twinkies) such as spinach, beets, red meat, and will eat them for a couple of days in a row until the craving goes away. The first time I drank raw (unpasteurized milk) my body reacted with a big "ahhhh." I figure my body is asking for these things for a good reason.

Another example of a healing that "couldn't" be done can be found here, from Dr. Joe Dispenza:

QuoteIt sounds crazy, but in 1986 I had the privilege of getting run over by a truck in a triathlon. When I received the diagnosis that I broke six vertebrae, that I had bone fragments on my spinal cord, and that I probably would never walk again, I had to make some important decisions. After I opted against a radical surgery recommended by four different experts and facing the prognosis of paralysis, I left the hospital with only one conviction: "The power that made the body, heals the body." My mission was to make contact with this innate intelligence, then give it a template or a design with very specific orders and finally surrender my healing to this unlimited power.

Vladimir

Thank you Deb
"been connected to nature" includes a component - been connected to our Selves - our innate nature, while living in solitude.
QuoteThe way to gradually attain Cosmic Consciousness is to intensify one's conscious awareness by much aloneness and companionship with God while manifesting Him in every moment and in every task of life.
Walter Russell , "The Secret of Working Knowingly With God"... every year in May Walter Russell was going to the hills in solitude for 40 days... there he wrote his revelation "The Divine Iliad"

People say : "what will you do if something happens to you and nobody there to help?"
It did happen... and indeed I thought it's all over........
but  the answer which I experienced is this:
in such situation you don't have a luxury to continue your habitual thinking b-s ...... cause it wouldn't work any more.... what is left? - either die or to wait for God to interfere ... and HE SURELY DOES.  Why surely? Because YOU ARE WAITING FOR THIS! - that's the "cleansing power" of the hell of the moment......
Nothing moves us forward as strongly as brushing with death...
This is all what Seth is channelling to us. Magic is a norm in the Universe. Knowing about it and waiting for it without a doubt guarantees the magic to show up when we need it.  From Hebrew scriptures to the latest New Age revelations - all prophets were talking the same talk in different languages.
-----
BTW : even our talk about being in solitude is only a reflection of our habitual mentality. The truth is: it is impossible to be alone even for a moment.... ever

Vladimir, this is a very nice setup you have in the forest. I am building the equivalent of the same in city life (I live in a small town with some water and nature on the condo property, I do not have to go to New York often if I don't feel like). Everything I need - I drag home - yoga mat, paint, canvas, books, notebooks for writing, juggling balls, and even a zither - a string musical instrument :)

Vladimir

Marianna, having all the tools for creativity + musical instrument - you have everything for your peace of mind. That's important 'cause you will always maintain sanity by putting mind to creative activity no matter what is happening in the world :)
But living in town I wouldn't call equivalent to living in the woods... too big difference...
Are you oil painting?
What is zither ?

Marianna

No, Vladimir, certainly. Town life does not compare to life in the woods. But I do not have 'work' outside. Good thing - for most of the day I am quite a 'free bird'. I can spend several days in a row without seeing anyone apart from my husband.
Zither is a string instrument. Board and strings, like 'gusli' in Russian tales.
I decided to try acrylic. I can get pretty much the same result with acrylic as with oil, but oil smells too much and is difficult to clean.

Deb

I've heard of a zither before, but not the gusli. I had to look that up. Here's a pretty example, it sounds a little like a harp, looks/sounds a little like an autoharp. I wonder if the autoharp was designed after it...? I learned something new today!

Vladimir

Interesting how just board with few strings can be turned into a "musical dream" if triggered and fueled by a human creativity.

Marianna

Quote from: DebI've heard of a zither before, but not the gusli. I had to look that up. Here's a pretty example, it sounds a little like a harp, looks/sounds a little like an autoharp.
I never thought that gusli exist now, that someone makes and sells them. I chose zither because it is smaller. I am sure this is my 'counterparts'' doing. Both string instrument and French. Until certain point I never in my life had interest in any of these things. My idea now is to master both at my leisure using knowledge available in the Universe and 'me' in other realities. :) as well as the Internet, you tube, but no tutoring :) You know, how it is said "no, you won't do it on your own, you need a teacher. go hire one".

Using just you tube and www I did wallpaper 3 rooms, so it's working. :)

Vladimir

Using only "knowledge available in the Universe"  (Magic approach) while living in the woods,
I am developing
- a new design of the recreational aircraft (weight shift trike) - structure is complete
- all-electric propulsion system for it
- my battery pack with electronic battery management system - design is done and tested
- a new electronic  in-flight controller to simultaneously display all vital electric parameters to the pilot as well as avionics on the same screen.... just finishing.....
------------
Why all that? - Because I want it and it is not available yet.
After all is there anything impossible that Universe cannot make?
My part is small - to allow Universe to do that through me... and it does

Marianna

Quote from: VladimirWhy all that? - Because I want it and it is not available yet. After all is there anything impossible that Universe cannot make?My part is small - to allow Universe to do that through me... and it does
Vladimir, I absolutely agree. Very often something is really unavailable or just fun to create - so you make it. For myself - I am always curious to see how far I can go - health-wise, creative-wise, etc.
Your project sounds very impressive, by the way.

Vladimir

Unfortunately as long as we are in a physical body - mind, attached to the body will always maintain some limits... it is a struggle to overcome our limits in mind...
I am struggling daily...
that list of my developments I mentioned is only partial... I received much more from Beyond for me TO DO  that my little ego still struggles with it ( like who do you think you are?... drop your fantasy... etc...)  that I can only share with my son...
the solution though will come when I fully implement that which I mentioned, then will have courage to take upon much larger goals that have been given.......
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
each of us is connected to the SOURCE of LIFE and whence is a potential magician...
the only obstacle is our mind heavily brainwashed by human society  with all the b-s that we cannot do and we cannot BE............

Deb

Quote from: VladimirI am developing

That is completely amazing to me. My mind goes to two people specifically: DaVinci and Tesla. Both were way ahead of their time, both (Tesla for sure) had ideas that just came to them like sudden downloads. The Universe does flow through us, if we allow it. I've invented/created some very minor things myself, so I know the feeling of sudden knowing and how quickly and smoothly things progress if the inspiration is embraced. But the technological aspect of what you are creating amazes me. One of my inventions was very silly but turned out to have unexpected potential which I could have expanded if I wanted to put my energy and attention into it. I did not. But I ended up talking on the phone with Shark Tank at one point. The sky, no... infinity, is the limit. No limit.

You go girl! YouTube, the internet, to me, is tapping into collective consciousness. I can't even tell you the things I've been able to do because of YouTube and the internet in general. Who needs books, classes, mentors these days when you have the Internet? And where the heck can one find wallpaper these days?

Quote from: Vladimirit is a struggle to overcome our limits in mind...

Robert Monroe said "The greatest illusion is that mankind has limitations." Unfortunately we all, to some degree, buy into the concept that we are limited. We need to be aware of that, that's the first step.

Quote from: Vladimireach of us is connected to the SOURCE of LIFE and whence is a potential magician...

I can't help but wonder why that is so true.
WHY are we being brainwashed?
Is it a test?

Vladimir

American "version" of Leonardo DaVanci was Walter Russell.  Walter Russell was a super-human -
Scientist-sculptor-painter-musician-philosopher-spiritual teacher !
If you want to know what will human evolve into (when time comes) read everything about Walter Russell.
It is not different from teachings of Seth but Russell was physically human and (unlike Jane Roberts) his own life was a showcase of the teaching. But he did not shy to use explicitly religious language - GOD, so for those people , whose mind points the word "God" to the mass organized religions, this could be an obstacle.
Best intro to Walter Russell:
"The Man Who Tapped The Secrets of the Universe" by Glen Clark
and another small brochure where Russell shares on "how he did that":
"The Secret of Working Knowingly With God" by Walter Russell
I am using his method often

Okay, well, thank you for that!
I'd not heard of him before, but he sounds very promising. I just found a Wiki on him and will read that next.

One of the things I love about this forum is that people here have knowledge about other 'speakers' or teachers to whom many of us have not yet been introduced.

He sounds like quite the character.

chasman

Vladimir, just wanted to say I really liked a lot of what you said.

Vladimir

If you like it - it is because these ideas reverberates in you as something which you already possess and you already KNOW...
Your feeling of "like" is just expression of the fact that, to a degree, you recognize your Self in my words...  for the same reason I felt so good reading for "Nature of Personal Reality" or Walter Russell's "The Secret of Working Knowingly With God"  -  those books triggered a "resonance" in me... because they describe .... ME... same in YOU
... our mission here is to recall who we are........

Vladimir

chasman

hey Vladimir,
I agree emphatically with what you are saying.
I repeat, I really super love so much of what you have said.
it sooooooo resonates with me.
thank you for all you wrote.

Deb, for some reason I like the book format. Not just for sentimental reasons (reading in childhood and over many years) :), but also for the sake of convenience (all in one place). Yet, I do not mind Kindle. But certainly, there are a lot of things I look up on the Internet. Wallpaper I bought online. You order samples, and then the amount you want.

I absolutely agree! Vladimir, thanks a lot for sharing info about Russel (never heard of him like the rest of us) and for your words of support and encouragement for all of us. After all, this path is rarely travelled and unpopular, so we'll take all encouragement we can get.

And again - thanks Deb for keeping this wonderful meeting place open and going for us.

Oh I do as well, for books that I think I will re-read such as all of my Seth books. They all look like they've been run over by a bus--dog-eared, highlighted, underlined, marginalia, finger prints, food stains. Well loved. But I can't help but marvel at the internet. When I was growing up I had tons of questions and answers were not easy to find. Now, no matter where I am, I have information at my fingertips. Even with my phone, I can instantly tap into the collective consciousness. Wiki. YouTube (I took my dishwasher apart a couple of months ago thanks to YouTube. No leftover parts when I was done).

Thanks for the tip on wallpaper. It wasn't long ago we had a local store to buy wallpaper, but I guess they're all online now.

Yes, you are right, Deb, underlined, pencil notes of exercise pages, and so on.
Internet is my first place to go with all my "how to/where/what" in all areas. Very convenient. Finding answers and explanations fast helps me 'move ahead' so to say, and leaves more time for more exciting things.
